I’ve been working in the design industry since graduating from my commericial art school in 1999 and I’ve been a professional freelance designer since early 2008.
I specialize in Illustration, apparel design and color separations. I love wearing shirts, I love designing shirts! My design abilities aren’t limited there, I also design other stuff. I work in print, identity/branding, web design and front-end web code (HTML, XHTML and CSS). Designing is my passion. It’s alot easier to get up and work when you love what you do.
Working with a diverse client base in a variety of media, I focus on building strong one-on-one relationships with clients. I want to find the right clients - my style isn’t the best fit for everyone. Understanding and connecting with the client is essential. If I can connect with the client on their project, my energy and passion for what we’re both trying to achieve comes out in the work. This is where my focus is day in and day out.
Despite living in Oklahoma City, I’ve learned how to use telephones and electronic devices, e.g., cell phones, computers, video conferences, emails, as well as attaching
files to emails, so art delivery and communication is not an issue.
I’ve got big ideas for myself and for Creative Trash, and hopefully my client list will continue to grow, clients will continue to love my work, continue to pay my invoices and I’ll live happily ever after.
